I replaced it when the chain wore out (the whole bike was new-old-stock from 1994, full XT), and as I mainly used the smaller sprockets, there is visible wear, and a new chain might jump on them if pedalled hard (usual thing).

NIB 36h front hub with qr. No camera at the moment, though.
