That's the alternative longer length, so would get away. That may put it on the 50mm chainline. But D-3NL is the ideal length for M730 (SG). Try what you have first 127.5 is great for some fancy cranks of that time iirc.

I have a stunning (almost nos) deore chainset with black biopace rings if you're happy to go below XT spec also have both 122.5 and 127.5mm BBs for it.

My '89 Fisher Procaliber has a Deore Groupset that pre dates it, because most of the orginal XT was shot and it slides through the shifts like a hot knife through butter. Much smoother than the STX stuff I had in the 90s or even my 10 year old 105 Groupset on the road bike.

Definitely starting to wonder why I've been running quite so many gears on some my other bikes. Think it was Bob Roll who said
"Nine is fine, Eight is great, BUT Seven is Heaven!"

I have a pair of arms without rings here pretty much perfect condition if they are of any interest?

Silver ideally but happy enough with black if in good condition.

I suppose the potential issue with black is shoe rub?
