Wired vs Non wired

Hi .
Im looking for some tyre advice

I am about to buy some tyres for my GT Talera . I am only using the bike to cruise around locally on bike rides with my kids . I like the tan wall look on a retro bike šŸ˜
I have found a company local to me Slam69 that have some Schwalbe Billy Bonkers in stock. They have them wired or non wired rim and they are Ā£10 cheaper with wire . Iā€™m confused on which one I should be going for .
If anyone has any other recommendations I am all ears

Non wired (foldable) will be lighter and the fold so easier to store.

For what your after, save the pennies and buy wired.

Go wire in this case.

However, keep in mind that Schwalbe often produces a bunch of variations of the same tire type, and i am pretty sure this is the case with the Billy Bonkers. The folding tire might also have a different rubber compound. i think the BB is available in the standard compound and some version of Addix.

the first version had a wired version that is not addix and the second series with bronze sides I did not see a wired version ... Black version wired? Can remember just black folding addix now
