Which brake/gear cables for M071s?

Hi all,
I bought a bundle from Jagwire but It looks like I need a bigger head on the end of the cable for these Shimano M071 brake levers.
I thought it was a standard size, however the cable feels very small and loose in the handle socket, unless I'm missing something?
Anyone know which cables I need for these please? or is it just a case of it will be ok under tension?

You can still find sleeves to put round the smaller ends, I have some brass and plastic ones floating around here somewhere
