Sorry if there's a 'hi fi what's it worth thread', I couldn't locate it if so.
I have had my dad's Kenwood M42 stack system since the the late 90s, but it's a bit big for our living room and I don't want to keep it in my garage due to damp etc. Anyone know if it's worth selling on? I'm not that into my sound systems, although a recent visit to an independant turntable dealer did blow my mind somewhat with the difference in sound quality available from various (albeit very expensive, in my eyes!) set ups.
It'll be a shame to see it go in some ways, as I won't be able to play my records, but I haven't for a couple of years anyway.

Any help or guidance much appreciated!
Ta,
Dave.

Twin cassette usually is compromised quality for convenience = relatively low end.

Estimate about £15 per unit so you wont be retiring on the proceeds.

There is a HiFi thread, could be in other collection

These either go for loads if theres a few nostalgic bidders fighting over one or they more often go for pennies.

Re:

Thanks for advice all, can't find anything exactly the same on th'eBay but suspect with my luck it'll end up going for £3.52. Might set it up in the garage after all.

I wanted one of these so badly when I was a teenager!

Moved on now to the less is more style of HiFi.

It would be great in your garage! Go for it.
