What period Shimano cable for m900 XTR….

….as the title suggests, what period cable to go with m900 XTR build? This being on a ‘94 RTS Team.

Silver/grey outers. depends on whether you want the real Shimano printing on it or else there are alternatives. I've got a few bits about, aftermarket may have slight difference between brake and gear outer colour

As above. Kits can be had online, price varies. That said, depending on your build scheme, black may look better and was also available in xtr flavour, not sure if it was period or a bit later.

I like the very light grey early cables which don’t say XTR on them for M900. And then the branded darker ones for m950
