What is this? Vintage Track Frame identification help please

Re: What is this? Vintage Track Frame identification help pl

so, due to the pinning, this quite likely rules it out to be a Carlton? possibly a smaller frame builder? sorry, i'm running slow today.

If i am right about Carlton copper tacking, then Carlton would have no pins. I wish we had a frame repairer on here who could confirm this, and whether Carlton really did mitre their tubes correctly. I used to cut up damaged frames to see how good the build was. Most roadster types cut the tubes with a straight cut on an angle, most french makers did two straight cuts so that they could use the neat nervex style lugs.
I'm the only one here allowed to be slow, I'm nearly 80.

I'm gathering knowledge and i think that's the most important thing. I'm learning about builders, building methods and looking at the mode of transport i love the most in a new light. i really appreciate your input. thank you.
