I have a small box as my phono pre amp at the moment - replacing a number of valve boxes which I felt had to go (Innovations 1000 plus psu) - it’s Schitt.

Schitt Audio that is.

I had some Innovations 3.5w Triode DC heated valve power amps and valve 1000 pre amp but none of it would work when earthed. Fine for me in the house but with 400v DC on the circuits and two children I just couldn’t have it up and running. Too risky. My valve Innovations 900 was finally rebuilt after a huge cascade failure and so I rationalised things and now run Voyd-Schitt-Innovations 900-Snell Ks. It is good, very good. But the original system was truly mind blowing. I do miss the 1000 pre amp.

I always wanted to try a valve amp. I am thinking of a valve headphone amp in the future. Any suggestions?
