I’ve had this bike for about ten years. Only bought it because I recognised the name as an important maker. Never seen one with normal handle bars. Has TA Chainset. Anybody know anything about this?

Told worth approx. £120-150?

I can't help with your query but in the interests of posterity, and my curiosity, can you post your serial number and a couple more photos of frame details e.g. fork crown, head lugs, etc. I have a Metcalfe from about 1975 and would just like to compare details. Check our the MKM website for lots of info on your bike.
