That is just stupid

What is? The severed heads lying unrefrigerated or a bit of tape on a rim?

Part of me hopes it's the second reason

Nice job you have made of it too
I feel you might have problems with the join in the tape though :? ,you might find it lifts easily as dust settles on it.

I seem to remember that there is an aluminium tape available, sticky as hell and is about 2 inches wide, that could do if you want a silver finish
but the blacks very nice all the same

if you can get hold of the stuff they do the cars with i dont see why it wouldnt be a pretty long term solution.

they can cope with salt, grit, wind, high speed, heat, cold

i remember the chrome-look tape. My viscount had a chrome back triangle with that. I thought it looked great, like a chrome custom frame. my mates thought it was shyte. In hindsight i reckon they were right ... I was just a kid

fronts been since xmas with about 10 rides totaling about 60 miles, through snow, rain, mud, pressure washes, muc off and is still fine.

the stuff they wrap cars in is just pvc based. which is what insulation tape is.

am going to try doing a frame in fablon soon :D
