After another week lost to rain and cold, out today on a mate's Kona Jake, which I have been fettling for him.

Bright, clear and cold, went off on a few dirt roads outside town for an hour and really enjoyed the bike. If it could shed a couple of pounds it would be even better!

No pictures from round 3 of the SWXC series on Sunday. It was the regional champs as well which means I'm the 13th fastest Vets in the area. Clearly that's nonsense, but hey, I'm claim it for now

Back at it this morning after a few runs. Chilly morning, 10 degrees thanks to the 15-20mph NWN wind. Solid cloud but dry. My usual morning loops but in reverse because I fancied steep climbs. Yep, proper

With the good news out of Kona, I didn't have to start sacrificing the fleet at the Tregeseal stone circle with a few virgins and Mayans.

First proper ride out on dirt since giving this 97 Mt Vision a sympathetic restoration during the pandemic, it was lovely evening on the Chevin!

Less windy than yesterday, 5-8mph NWN but as chilly, 9 degrees max. Super-quiet up top with the resident cuckoo presumably fast asleep. Thick cloud but relatively clear. A pretty good look to the Scilly's, Longships and even Wolf Rock.

Check out the Barn in the background,1748.The War memorial was designed and sculpted by Eric Gill,he made the sword handle resemble a penis! If you google him you will understand why.
