Today's Ride

As someone who is an absolute non-roadie, but a little curious about why the hell people buy a gravel bike, I'm giving this entry level cyclocross bike a go for a bit. Initial thoughts are it feels weird, the cockpit positions are entirely unnatural, but speed and easy climbing are pleasant enough. Did my usual short loop to get a breather between work meetings.

..took a 'shortcut' up to the ridge, but popped up too soon and had to do some rock hopping, bike on my shoulder

..if i was to ride the loop home from here, t'would be just boring road, through Lodge Moor, so i went back up to Stanage
