Well, got a bottle of alclad, took a deep breath and whacked it on the whole frame, waited for it to dry and did a second coat, waited for the tackiness to go and stuck it back in the shed, if I go in the shed tomorrow and there's a pile of paint on the floor I'll know it's not took too well
Seriously though it seemed to go on ok, your tip of just blowing at the bubbles worked a treat, and I couldn't see any streaks as it seems to dry evenly. It was quite a shiny coat of paint already so not sure if I'll see too much difference but if it protects the decals I'll be happy. Cheers
