Tim Gould's '93 Newnham Schwinn (homage) FINISHED

Re:

Nice!

Tracking says the frame is being shipped - via Istanbul!

Hopefully here latest next week. I got a set of VGC M900 brakes yesterday in the post...and i think that I may have a source for a set of Scott Unishock forks (fingers crossed)

Re:

@Bollox64: Thanks, unfortunately mine had a pos Paioli suspension fork which is obviously toasted now. I might rebuild it in the future, it needs new elastomers and should be good to go, but I am not really enthusiastic about the suspension forks from that time period as dor me all of them were wet noodles and weak performers in real riding conditions.
Let's just say that in my opinion real suspension, reliable and with palpablle benefits, appeared since 1997, with Marzocchi Z series.

@Jens_BM: nice Paramount, same Tange Prestige tubing ?

Re: Tim Gould Schwinn homage build

Re: Tim Gould Schwinn homage build

Being Prestige, I've bilnd guessed it's around 2kg..so this weight it's verified on a scale ?

Re: Tim Gould Schwinn homage build

Just got some XTR m900 brakes and a front mech in the post, plus also got the magazine pages from Shawn that he foto'd earlier- thanks mate.

Also got a special "feeler" out regarding more info on the bike - more later if that works out

Now I JUST need the frame to make its way here from Istanbul
