96 Lava Dome

Shown as a SS setup. Original owner. Still have all the original components in a 6-7 condition (scale of 10 being the highest). No dents or rust but the bearings on the hubs need rebuilding - currently have another set of wheels on the bike. Just my seldom used neighborhood cruiser now that I spend more time on my roadie, fixie and 29'er.

KHS Montana Comp

My friend has this bike gathering dust in his shed for a while now. It's a KHS Montana Comp with all the original parts - LX groupset (with XT rear mech), Bontranger C20 saddle, Zoom handlerbars, Panaracer Smoke II tyres, Versa C5 canilever brakes.
The most action it's seen in the past 5 years is a trip to Centre Parcs.
It was purchased in the mid to late 90s (about 96,97 or 98ish) It's in generally good condition - a couple of nicks on the saddle, a bit of wear on the tyres etc.

Any ideas of the value??

Hi, looking for some ideas of value for a few components -

Early 90's LX chainset, complete, excellent condition

DX Rear Mech, excellent condition

and

Some 7 speed LX hubs on Mavic M231 rims, excellent condition

Haven't got any pics, all with very little wear or scratches, rims on the wheels are very good with hardly any wear and true.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Rudge bicycle

I recently returned from Easter with my girlfriend and we spent some time at her grandmother's.

I am trying to build my girlfriend a bike for the summer so we can go on some rides together. On hearing this her grandmother suggested she try her grandfather's old bicycle. Unfortunately it is far to big for her.

So now I have an old Rudge bicycle to sell and hopefully make some money towards a bike for my girlfriend. Phew. Now that that's over what is this Rudge worth? And where would the best place to sell it be?

Cheers

no markings on the stem and only markings on the QR's are PAT71510

The stem is an Answer ATAC quill stem with noodle.

The qr skewers are trickier....I have a couple sets, and I've heard control tech, or Joe's, or critical racing...not sure which one if any...

I believe you should make a thread for the QR skewers in the retro mtb section...perhaps someone will know for sure.
