I'll bump this thread. Currently looking at some TdF documentaries and there is
a great snip of a fan who get's on her bike, joins the peleton, picks her way through the
peleton, rides up to her hero, hands him a pen and paper for his autograph! :cool:

How could anyone refuse that attention, and oh how things have changed! :LOL:

Is that the rainbow jersey!!? For sure they could ride their bikes back then, and not a bleedin helmet in sight either. Try showing up like that at any random group ride today and the helmet mafia will lynch you.
