I have a smart-looking half link chain on my singlespeed that just doesn't play well with the rest of the drivetrain. The reason is that the chainring and cog are both 3/32" width while the chain is 1/8". I'd get away with the setup if I wasn't running a White Industries DOS out back and a ring and bash up front. The whole setup is just too noisy and I'll never sort it out without running a 3/32" chain with the DOS freewheel.
The chain is branded Reluctant but AFAICT it's the same as the Gusset/ Charge/YBN/etc ones you see in various places. Colour is gold, it has 114 links and I still have the original - albeith slightly batttered - tin for it.
Does anyone have a similar chain in 3/32" that they'd care to swap? I know this will sound daft but I'm not interested in a normal chain - I really like the look of the half-link chain! Not the sound though ...
Cheers, Gareth.
