Swallow tourer Hellenic triple triangle

Ive spoken to the seller on ebay...they are the original wheels, but not the original brakes ( as can be seen). Apparently the old brake calipers did fit better, but were not very good.

So it looks like it came like this from new....its a bit of a odd one design wise! Makes you wonder what the rationale was...especially for a tourer! Must be a bugger with panniers and it cant be that stable!

I actually didn’t read the blurb when I added this post 🤦 but yeah def looks like it has 700c atm. I guess touring around Provence in the summer you don’t need mudguards… The triple triangle must reduce frame flex you normally get from loaded touring on old steel bikes, but still such a short wheelbase…

Mudguard eyelets on frame that can't actually take mudguards is a new one on me, I must say. I do like the weirdness of it, though. I can image people squinting and thinking "Is that a GT?"
