Spengle wheels axles - replacements

I snapped one of my spengle axles about a year ago, & after 6months sourcing, to no avail, & lots of very expensive quotes from engineering firms. I got a mate of someone at work to turn me a new one from Aircraft grade Alloy. Fitted perfectly & all intact thus far.

So heaven forbid you ever snap a Spengle Axle - I have a source.

cost me £50.

I thought Spengle used Shimano axles and bodies? At least my MTB3 did AFAIK.
