What year is this from? Claims to be 1986 but looks more like the 88/89 years of Stumpies.

88 rockhopper had u-brake on chain stays.

It's a 1989 Rockhopper model. The give away is Mountain LX groupset which was one year only. I had one, not a bad bike.
