Specialized Hardrock 1994

Thank you. Definitely starting to specialise in Specializeds. It's the ride quality that's won me over: for a low end bike, the HardRock is surprisingly good. It's definitely a more firm ride than some but that's not a problem on the seafront. The RockHopper is a very different animal: much more springy and I've gone a bit more upmarket on that one. Aside from commuting, my riding is essentially weekend warrior stuff for fitness, peace and quiet, and enjoying the countryside (or seaside) - perhaps 'trekking' rather than mountain biking. The RockHopper is really all the bike I need for that. That one hasn't got any decals either, by the way: I quite like the anonymity and, as you say, it makes for a cleaner look.
