Specialized FSR Extreme 1998

Hej,

no, sorry, everything was gone quite quickly. Except for two Z1 in orange, which I kept due to emotional attachment. They should be downstairs in the garage somewhere :) The 100 mil orange ones worked significantly better than the 130mm lime one. Don't know why, serviced both. But 130mm was just nicer to look at, hihi.

In retrospect, I would not recommend to go for 1 ring in the front. Just too harsh uphill, keep 2 rings focusing on uphill and forget about top-speed downhill.

And I'd probably look for an angle set to get slacker front and a wider bar.

Cheers
Tom

Ah, that's a shame. Thanks for your reply though.

I'm interested in improving the bike for more confidence downhill and jumps. The main thing for me is sorting out the seat post at the moment. Not being able to lower it is a real pain.

Can I ask what kind of drop you got out of your seatpost? I am looking at a "cheap" KS ETEN but it only has a 75mm drop not sure if its's enough:

Hej there,

as far as I remember I also had 75mm drop. Better than the 20mm you have without a dropper post ;)

Cheers
