23rd seems a good date then?
I'm in Minehead this weekend helping the old man out but I think there may some time when I'm not required so I'll get in a bit of reconnaissance if I get the chance. Initial route plan would be something like:
Starting at the carpark behind Minehead harbour, take the bridleway around the side of North Hill to the top. Really cool sea views over the channel from here. Long but not steep climb.
From the car park above the 'tank grounds', take the bridleway that runs along the top of North Hill on the north side to Selworthy Beacon.
Decend from carpark at the end of Hill Road on bridleway to Selworthy.
Take back road (if you can call it a road!) to Tivington.
From Tivington, take bridleway climb onto 'Grabbist Hill'
Ride along Grabbist Hill ridge (many little detour routes up here to play on).
Decend from 'Grabbist Hill' to either Dunster or Minehead (2 mile road from Dunster back to start point).
Plenty of pubs in Minehead. The Old Ship Aground on Minehead harbour is nice... also a few good pubs in Dunster if people don't mind the bit of road back to Minehead.
