For sale is my Simoncini Cyclocross bike. This is a rare frame imported from Italy in the 1980's by Ernie Clements who then built them up into bikes for his customers.

The seat tube and top tube are both 55cm. It currently has a 7 speed triple set up on it but I think it would originally have come with a compact double.

The tubing is Cromo Zero Tre Dedacciai.

The seat post and stem both move freely.

The wheels are particularly nice bronzed Rigidas and are both true with no play in the cones and spin lovely. They are 700c

There are no dents to the frame but there are obvious paint chips and scratches to the paintwork.Has a period 7 speed Shimano set up.

The bike rides lovely and everything works.

The cantis work surprisingly well and unlike most of them they actually bring you to a stop with no brake judder whatsoever.

Re: Simoncini Steel Cyclocross Bike - 55cm Very Rare. Reduced

Hi Peter, I'm interested in the bike - I could pay in advance or put down a deposit but might not be able to collect for a week or so.
Is that okay?
