I've got an immaculate set of rock shox Reba forks for sale.

I've just rebuilt the forks using a brand new set of V brake lowers, dust seals and foam rings (soaked in fork fluid) and given them a full service, new o rings, 110ml of 5wt oil damper side, 15ml of 15wt in each lower leg as per rock shox recommendations and new crush washer air side.

New decals also applied (not 100% lined up but pretty close), including the air volume chart on the rear leg.

They now of course hold air perfectly, no leaks, stanchions are really clean inside and out, and bushings are new of course so they should give you many many miles of trouble free use. Rebound and compression/lock out are also working perfectly. There are a few tiny marks on the visible crown (marks from crown race obviously but will be hidden when your crown race of choice is fitted), nothing much, just want to be clear on the condition, which is extremely good, almost as good as new.

Lock out remote lever included (this is actually new, although I have fitted it to another bike in the past to try out a couple of different lock out levers, so the cable has been crimped a bit when fitted to the lock out spool.

Steerer is 1 1/8 and 187mm long.

Travel is set to 100mm I believe, but you can adjust down to 80mm by adding more spacers air side, or remove the ones fitted to get 115mm if you wish.

I think I've covered everything, but if I've missed any info, let me know.

I'm after £120 posted (uk insured, no overseas postage on these I'm afraid) for these lovely forks, but if you feel I'm out on price, hit me with an offer.

Re: Rock shox Reba, v brake 26er

Do you know the weight of these? I absolutely do not need them but they're a rather lovely match for a weight weenie build I 'finished' ages ago. Please tell me they're a good 2kg+... :)

Re: Rock shox Reba, v brake 26er

Thanks, it's about what I guessed. Perfectly respectable weight, though still a chunk heavier than the Mars fork it would be replacing. Still tempted, but I think I'll probably leave it for the moment...

Re:

No worries, but if you change your mind.....

Unless of course you have anything to trade rather than £?

Re:

The rods inside the fork legs are the same diameter over their entire length, so there's nothing stopping you from adding more spacers to drop it even further than 80mm. I run my 2011 disc-only Reba at 60mm.
With such small travel, one would need to run a higher pressure though.
