Hi There,
I’m selling my Peugeot Competition 6000 (54cm) and wanted to offer someone here the first opportunity before posting in usual places elsewhere. I saved the bike from a near death experience a few years back and have just invested the patience to bring it back near to its late 90’s original condition. The Columbus Brain Copper coloured frame is in great condition apart from a couple of small spots, the bearings are all very smooth with no movement and the drive components are original and excellent. The 650c wheels are also good and straight. I really don’t think that this machine had been ridden for more than a few hundred miles before being stored. The work I’ve done includes, replacement Shimano 105 (age correct) Brakes, reburbished the STI levers, new inner and outer brake and gear cables, new chain, seat-post, inner-tubes and bar-tape. The rear tyre is worn, but original, so stayed on.
Included in the sale are the original Tri-bars, pedals not included.
