For sale is a 1994 Klein Pulse with Zip-Grip. 18“/47cm C-T, 31.6; 1 1/8“
This is the only year Klein manufactured the Zip-Grip, we all know how this story ended... The Zip-Grip on this frame works and is clean. There is only a small piece of the outer seal broken away. The BB is smooth, spindle length is ~115 mm.
The frame is stripped and ready to be repainted. I had it in my basement for some time and will never get to finish it.
The frame is in great condition overall, but there are these small issues:
1. The RD hanger was repaired using a helicoil
2. The inlets for the rear brake have been drilled. The insert for the front inlet is there and will hold the brake housing, though
3. One bottle inlay is loose
The seat post and headset are not included.
