urgently need a medium-sized, light-ish but sturdy, preferably aluminium hybrid/ touring/ sports road bicycle, or frame or anything in between [must have rack mounting threaded eyelets]. should fit 700c 8-speed wheels. i need to do up for someone who needs a bike to get to work as can't afford public transport & is moving far from work. he can't afford to buy anything right now- & neither can i- so free would be ideal, but could trade for a host of different parts if necessary- for example: something like a medium alu frame & fork, with integrated tabs for drum brakes, or a tiny old steel cyclocross frame [only]? or any sort of combination of tub wheels/ rims- have plenty, or anything Shimano for a 90's mtb! have a load of nice & weird components, so maybe mention what you're after if you have a suitable solution for my friend. thousand thanks in advance.
