Retro Newbie
Hi lads, let's start K2 thread. Not so widespread bikes here, but mostly with high spec.
Mine is equipped with Tange Ultimate Superlight MTB tubes, Ritchey laced rims and Deore XT 730/736 group and weights only 11kg including sealant.

Here is my 1991 Comp 91 Ultralight. Full XT, although I've already swapped out the XT pedals and hubs/rims for another project. I originally bought it as a donor bike and some of the other parts are destined for pastures new. It’s way too big for me otherwise I’d keep it. A K2 bike in a ski town is a cool thing to have. My first skis were 1987 K2 Comp and had the same graphics. I saw this thread and figured to document the bike before I steal the other bits. I would consider selling/trading the frame/fork/stem/bar/post/BB if anyone is interested. It’s a great frame in amazing condition.

Stunning bikes, these steel looptail beauties! These are NOT like the K2s I expect to see around here. Everything seems to be aluminum sporting goods store level quality. Thanks to this, I'll be taking a closer look from now on

Actually I have currently no other K2 bike any longer than a 2004 Razorback Team, but K2 is typical a brand I do like.

We have put together in the German Classic-Bike forum a well structured overview about K2 models and series as there is no other documentation or brochures etc. around any longer.
Below a link using Google to translate to English, hopefully still helpful.

If you have comments, additions or edits, please let me know.
