Now that I have my barn find 1983 nishiki bush whacker done I was wodering how many more nishikis there are out there. I didn't see a post to show them so here it is

I believe this was the first mountain bike ever offered by nishiki. It has full suntour drivetrain, full sealed cartrage bearing hubs, I was even able to find a selle Italia seat and original Norco tires ( in Canada nishiki was imported by Norco) from the same era. Here is the catalog.

I love the description "a new concept in cycling"

My Ariel, spiced up with Tioga parts including Revolver crankset. Rims Weinmann Bontrager BCR2 with original Motivator tires. My first "real" mtb back in the days.
