shogun cycles

Yeah I used to think that my first 'real MTB was a Shogun!

1990 I spent about £275 iirc of my hard earned paper round money and maybe a small deposit on a Trailbreaker 2, black with green and silver fleck decoration, and beautifully kitted out with 200GS, it wasn't a bad bike really I reckon, apart from the breakable groupset. Only had it a year before i moved onto GT though, fast phases.

Heres some pictures of my trail breaker 2

Thats a nice looking bike (pink grips aside ;) )

God, look at the travel on them forks!

I have a set of those in the loft. Mine were altered to give extra travel. They gave about 30mm in their altered state.

Funny got a old shekker of a shogun in the cave for a service. Was distributed by Caratti back then. Basic Altus C10 bits on it. Will get a pic
