SELLING - Saracen Kili Flyer 1990s

Hi,

I’m looking to sell my loved Saracen Kili Flyer. I purchased this around 1992, was only about 15 at the time, and cost more than my friends first car!

It’s been stored in my parents garage for the past 10 years, and sadly now needs some TLC. I haven’t got the time or experience to bring it back to life.

Everything works, but needs attention.

I have no idea what it’s worth, so any advice or offers would be amazing. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Micky. Lovely old lass is that, the 1991's were ace! Pretty hard to accurately price as you don't see many of these. The one that usually shows up is the Traverse Hydrotech and they sell for between £100/150 but yours is far rarer, however is clearly well used..... I'd expect you to find a buyer somewhere between £150/200, maybe a bit more but the market for Saracen isn't huge so you might have to wait a bit.

If it was mine I'd stick it on ebay with a buy it now price of £250 and see how you get on. I'd have it myself if the frame was slightly tidier as it's a beaut.

Thank you for this, very very useful and now I wished I had stored it better than I have done!

The frame has got a bit rusty in parts, but is still very nice....even today, its a good looking bike. I will put it onto eBay and see if I get any offers. Love the catalogue, and again very useful.

No worries mate it's a great old bike and has clearly been used as intended! All you need is the right buyer and it'll shift in no time to a good home.

For a bike with xt thumbies and xt black cranks £200 would be quite a good price. You would make more money splitting it but where’s the fun in that
