You've spent 10 years making the collection but the first time we see you in rb is when you are trying to sell thousands of euros worth of bikes and even now you still have only 3 posts.

We have quite a few members in Europe, can I ask if these bikes are advertised elsewhere? Thanks

Yes the bikes are advertized also here : http://www.melivelo.fr/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=22851 but you have to be registered to see it I think. But you can see my posts about all the bikes I collected over the years.

I haven't post on Retrobike, but I read it a lot...

Fyi shipping costs are from 50 to 100 euros per bike, depending of countries in EU at least. And I'm not discussing about prices because I believe they are more than fair + I know it cost me more + I spent quite some time to assemble those babies.

To be fair, the seller never mentioned anything about dibs but he was quite clear when they said " If you are somehow interested, you can contact me" Not every sale on RB is subject to dibs and he did make it clear they were for sale on other places too

Mathieu, Thanks for the reply, you can get swamped quite quickly on here particularly when you have items that quite a few are after and the further info you supplied was helpful.

No you were not the first one to contact me, and when people ask for pics and never reply afterwards, I'm just stocked with bikes... Sorry I received most probably 50 PM on 2 forums, + emails, so the first who say "I buy it" is getting it, simple (for me at least)

As said, I cann't read forums / PM / emails at same time and check who was the first to ASK A QUESTION...

Anyway, it's not easy to sell my collection, so I will appreciate a bit more understanding also

Oh well the same thing happened to me. Was definitely the first to write him as I was up on the page the same time he posted. He then sold it to someone else... not very cool.
Seller should be selling the bikes in some order not all over the place. I understand he got like a million pm's but so do I sometime when I'm selling something interesting but I always go in line from first to last - I think these are also forum rules (dibs)..
