Hi guys, I have my first MTB, 1991 Scott windriver needing a good home. I have no space for it anymore and don’t want to just get rid of it. Any suggestions of a good home?

It has most of the original bits, inc. Ahimano Deore DX group set.

You could take a look at your local bike charity/etc. For example, mine does up bikes to lend to local people who need transport which is subsidised by tourist rentals.

Or if you are looking to sell, you could post in the what's it worth thread, or for sale area here.

Thanks Greencat. Is this predominantly US as I am based in the UK?

Mr Ox, love the bike. Front wheels a bit wobbly these days, needs a new hub I would say. If I had more room I wouldn’t be getting rid. I did actually take it to a bike shop to see if they refurbished them but wasn’t worth what they’d charge.

Cost be £1300 when I was 17, was top notch back then.
