The government is floating plans to sell off our national forests to private firms. This could mean ancient woodlands are chopped down and ruined. We need to come together to stop this happening.

What ancient woodland is being sold off? I thought it was just the “commercial logging non-indigenous conifer forests that are detrimental to our countryside because they support virtually no other wildlife and don't allow any other species of trees or plants to grow” and "only make up about 8% of the total" forest that are being sold anyway. And any footpaths / bridleways are protected by law and any other access will be written in the deeds.
Just scaremungering. One good example, Coed Llandegla is owned by Shotton Paper Mill, they started and encouraged the trails there (if you like trail centres that is).
