For sale is my Saracen Trekker 1989
19" frame
It's been in my family from new. My dad gave it to me when I was 14 and I've used it as my only MTB since.
Use has varied over the years and now I'm a bit older, I took the opportunity to give it a new lease of life.
It has been converted to a single chainring at the front with 11 speed cassette at the back. A full Shimano SLX drivetrain replacement, BB, Headset, cranks, chainring, chain.
Deore brake levers and front brake. Maintained the original U-brake on the rear
Pace RC35 carbon fibre suspension fork added on the front.
Two sets of new tyres 1.9" and 2.3". Although the 2.3" is too tight to fit on the rear, it's really sure-footed on the front.
