Haven't tried it myself but several people have suggested the sticky patches Halfords sell for sticking rear-view mirrors to windscreens?

Seems like a sensible idea. All I know is I want it to be the kind of stuff that will really bond it on there hard. I was for a short while thinking Araldite would do it, but could be a little overkill?
