Looks good. Is that the original stem though or was that part of the sit up and beg conversion? Looks wrong to me.

However it's good quality, very light, so i think it might have belonged to a rockcombo or something like that

will keep my feelers out for a saracen stem and saddle, also needs a black seat post - so again will keep watch for a deore xt post in 27.2

also would ideally like the black XT cantilevers - currently BR60s on there

to be honest theres hardly a part thats original on there now, as its now seven speed on mavic dakar hubs, M732 mechs and shifters etc etc,

have re-fitted the shark fin and pedals, but the rest of the parts are in a bit of a state and need quite a bit of effort to get them good again - doable but not sure its worth it.

given the state of the paint i will just tune this up now, maybe use it over winter and sell one of the other off, and use that fund a paint job on this

All of mine are seven speed, I know its not original but it makes life easier having everything compatible, can swop wheels easiy etc.

I thought I might have a spare stem but I dont think I have, I have one more trekker to build up, and then I have one other stem but my trekker xt currently has a flexstem on it and the spare stem needs to stay with that bike really, incase I want to swop it back. A flex stem would be a good addition to yours though?
