so on subject. i ended up going rigid steel fork with original ritchey threaded 11/8 headset and an extension tube to raise stem 3-4".
xtr bb from used store but brand new with roler bearing 175mm. pulled the largest cog i could find off used wheel and hand laces 36 spoke wheels. re thread of front ritchey with suzy sealed hubs. new mavic i got for 10$. 26" drying breed?
