Rim wear advice

I’ve got hold of a set of used wheels with alloy Mavic rims. The rear is barely worn but the front has a noticeably concave braking surface. I can see light when holding a straight edge against it and I’ve measured the deepest point of the dip at 0.27mm. The remaining rim is now 0.97mm thick, i.e. it started off around 1.3mm and has worn down to around 1mm at the thinnest point.

I’m not too worried about further wear as these are going on a bike for sunny days only, but would you ride the front wheel with that wear?

I've seen 2 thin-walled rims explode with the result that what was left was barely recognisable as a wheel. Surprisingly both of these happened when the riders who had been riding were stationary having a rest
