<p>bit of rust on stem. Paint work scuffed. Chain ring has lost thread but a bike shop can remove as i have done previously or just use as is. Its a nice retro frame. 28 38 48 chain ring. </p>

Yes. those Ridgeback's were offered for sale in the freewheel catalogue. that looks pre-90s to me.

1990 or 91. 89s were all splatter. I‘ve got 2 !

The first bike Madison made was called a Ridgeback. The next year they changed the make to be Ridgeback rather than the model.

This one is early, but isn’t a Madison Ridgeback.
