If the rims are not super lightweight and you are not a “big unit” then you should be fine. Flemish cobbles are far from smooth but that are not Arenberg bad. Fit, the widest rubber you can and don’t worry about the tied and soldered spokes, very cool, but the science suggests that they do not make a lot of difference.
