you can have a short dib on it.
There is no indication on the mech. Probably on Campag site somwhere?

Nominally the capacity is 27 teeth and the maximum cog size is 26. So 53-39 with 13-26 block or 50-34 with 12-23 block.

In practice you can get a bit more out of it. I've used a short cage with 53-39 and a 12-27 block which is a capacity of 29 teeth and it's fine. Doesn't rumble on the 27 cog either.

Thanks guys, that's great info. I failed miserably getting that off the Campy website in my lunchbreak!

Sadly it'll be too strained for the kind of ratios I've got fitted, and I'm not man enough to up the inches I'm afraid!

39/53 with a 13-29 10 speed will also work no problem at all
