I have posted this bike up before, it is actually an early Thorn Expedition badged up as a homage to that great workhorse the Raleigh Sports and is my everyday ride. I had originally fitted wheels with chrome hubs and silver rims but have changed those of a pair of 32/40 spoke pre-war hubs fitted with black Rigida rims for more of a vintage look.
Some of the parts such as the mudguards, pedals and kick stand are genuine Raleigh, a Brooks rack and saddle with Nitto bars, stem and seatpost so a mixture of old and new but a comfortable and useable bike.
