Great to meet you Rob and the Road Ace is a great bike. I am now considering surgery so I will fit on it!

Hi Rich, it was a great pleasure to meet you. Having seen it splendidly piloted up and down the road, I have realised I will never find another quite like it so have decided to withdraw it from sale. Just need to sort out that rear rim now. I must follow up on the idea of a Berks hands retro ride out!

Hi Richardshill, many thanks for the consideration on the rim. Unfortunately the weinmann rim on my version is a rare dark anodised 513e which isn't concave but I very much appreciate you mentioning the possibility.

Keep it Rob, I would! If anyone out there has a 23.5"/ 60cm one I'm interested!

Re:

Could you tell me max distance from crank centre to top of seat (along the seat tube) with that seat post please?
Beautiful bike, if I think I can make it fit I’m in!

Re:

Hi Agnello, many thanks for the interest in it, I hope the following assists -

Headtube: 14.5CM
Top tube: 55.0cm (ctr to ctr)
Seat tube: 57.0cm (ctr of bottom bracket to top of seat tube)

centre of bottom bracket to top of saddle with seatpost at maximum extension is 75cm though I guess you could get a longer seatpost if required.

I hope you fit it! LOL
best regards
Rob
