Raleigh Road Ace, 22" C-T. 1983 £550. UK only. Location: Hove.
Thinking of selling my Raleigh Road Ace, which is pretty much all original. I think the only deviations are the tubulars and the toe-straps (which were originally blue), it even has the aero bar-plugs, bottle, and headset cover.
It's hardly been ridden (no wear on the rims) and has sat in my garage for the last 15 years. I've given it a superficial clean and that's it.
Spec is:
Frame and forks: 531c (21-inch centre to top). There are some scuffs on the stays and a bit of flaking inside r/h dropout (all pictured)
Groupset: Shimano 600ax including dynadrive pedals, headset (need specific spanners), hubs, cassette, brakes
Bars and stem (6cm) Dura-Ace ax
Rims: Mavic GP4 tubular.
Other things to note: the cap of the bottle is split, there is some cracking to plastic stem cap, brake hoods are a bit perished.
Thinking of £550 and for the full price I will include a pair of NOS pedals (with the correct straps and clips) and some NOS brake hoods (tan, not white).
Could post within UK at cost but will have to find a box etc.
