Proflex 950 offroad 1990. 18.5"

I have for sale a Proflex 950 offroad Mountain bike. 18.5" Bike. 26" wheel.
1990.

The bike is fully original with exception to the brakes, pedals and tires.I think.

Full Shimano Deor LX group set on aluminium frame.


The bike has just been serviced with new headset bearings and a few cables replaced. Rides fine.

What do you think in terms of value?

What you have there is a 1991 Offroad ProFlex 950 - in what appears to be the smallest size offered, 14" (probably measured from the centre of the bottom bracket, to the centre or top of the main sloping top tube - not the angled brace from the seatpost collar), could possibly be the 16" but I don't think so. @24pouces is this the same size as yours? 14"?

The specification appears to be almost entirely non-original I'm afraid! It should be Deore XT, but it looks as though a lot of components from the entry level 550 model have been transplanted on to a 950 frameset. V-brakes are much newer as you have noted.

The original elastomer and spacers are no longer present. @fguki can supply new OEM style elastomers.

If someone is looking for a small framed complete bike, perhaps £150-£200.
