A few long travel hardtails in this household...

Karen's Ellsworth Specialist is probably my favourite.

My old Spooky Bandwagon - not exactly long travel but a lot of fun. It's the looks on the faces of the body-armoured full carbon Lapierre-riding types at Coed y Brenin as this old thing rattles past them that brings me the most pleasure.

And lastly, my low maintenance winter Spooky ht - I've developed long travel elbows. In the summer this gets a Magura Thor up front, but I've been riding it for the last few months with a rigid Vicious fork and a 27.5" wheel up front. Quite harsh, but I like a challenge.

Here are my two current hardtails. 2001 Reaper (5 inch travel fork) and 98 Chameleon (4in fork). Love these bikes. Takes me back to old days when I couldn't afford full sus.
