PICS UP! XTR / Ringlé / RaceFace / Marzocchi / etc...

BoyBurning

Karma King
Bontrager Fan
SOLD: Ringlé Abbah and Lawwill wheelset
20mm through axle / 110 front [black]
QR rear - not measured axle but assume this standard hasn't changed as it fits my old AMP! [black]
Rims are Sun SingleTrack [with Mosely decals by the valve caps] in black as well - as are the spokes.
Tubes are whatever are in there, and the tyres are Maxxis Holy Rollers.
The spacer tube and screw in end caps are on the front wheel, but there's no QR for the rear.
These are really nice wheels [they remind me much more of early Ringlé than later] and the quality is lovely. Just like my old Bubbas!
The bearings feel dry from standing around, but are Enduro cartridge so easy to remedy I suspect.
I desperately wanted these to work on my AMP... :(
£175.00 plus postage / free to collect.

SOLD: Shimano XTR M975 front and rear disc brakes - full set, calipers and levers and hoses all complete.
IS / post mount combined attachment.
160mm front and rear rotors.
Bolts for rotor to hub attachment.
There's a couple of grazes to the levers, the callipers are excellent, and they appear to be fully functioning and in need of nothing.
I really like these and still might keep them for my AMP, but in my heart I'm set on Hopes now...
£100.00 plus postage / free to collect.

Marzocchi Dirt Jumper 1 fork.
Alloy steerer and stanchions.
20mm bolt through front legs.
IS mounting for brakes - nowt for cantis / vees.
Erm, I know nothing else about them really in terms of specs!
I'll paste below from the Marzocchi website, but only have their word for what their forks are!

30.0 I think, and around 200mm from base to centre of rails.
Pretty used, but can't find any evidence of damage over the wear shown in the pics.
£15.00 plus postage / free to collect.

WTB Rocket V titanium saddle in white with trimmings of urban chic
Pics show condition accurately - no rips or tears, other than to a section of the decorative trimming [technical term] which is pulling away.
This actually had some digits or letters written underneath in white paint pen, but I inadvertently wiped them off before realising what they may have been...
£20.00 plus postage / free to collect.

Shimano Saint Hollwtech II chainset and external cups BB.

£15.00 plus postage / free to collect.

XT rear mech.
RD-M761
Barrel adjuster missing - think it's snapped inside the body actually, so will need removing and replacement fitted
£10.00 plus postage / free to collect.

DMR Mag V8 pedals in white.
Used condition.
£10.00 plus postage / free to collect.

Re:

Pics 01:

Note the discolouration on the bars is residue from the adhesive used to secure the grips. It'll come off if you want to run clear grips, and the finish on the bars is otherwise really good!

Re: XTR / Ringlé / RaceFace / Marzocchi / E Thirteen / WTB

Shame they arent suitable for what you wanted them for. You should be able to find a qr hub easy enough to swap though.

Anyway, intrested in the headset pending pics :)

I know - pretty disappointed about it really, as the wheels and brakes would have been perfect for the AMP I'm building up. :(

I'm consoling myself with the thought that silver Hope wheels and brakes will match the all silver build I was originally going for better anyway! :)

As a sign of just how stoopid I am about these things, I bought some Hope rotors / callipers / levers for the AMP, thinking all I'd need was some Hope hubs and I'd be away.

Then I find out the front is 203mm, and the rear 185mm or something and they're way too much for a fragile AMP frame, so they have to go too. Or maybe they don't - I'm just presuming that callipers are matched to rotor size and the required spacing off the mounts, and that I can't simply use the same callipers and get some 160 / 140 rotors instead?

I might be able to get pics up later today, if not it will be Monday now. I'll put you down as a provisional hold on the headset anyway pending pics!

pics!

Tom
I feel your pain....been there. I've got the Hope brakes relatively sussed for AMPs . No 3 & 5 are the calipers you want. No5 on front is 165mm. No3 on front 185mm (probably better for an F4) I am currently using No3 on rear with 140mm rotor. Adapter is one I made. Hope list No5 as 140 on rear.
Went to the Surrey Hills to test it all out.....rear pads wore out in the "Surrey slurry"! Front survived though a lot of brake fade towards the end of the ride. I had sintered pads up front, organic rear.

Re:

Thanks chap - I'll add those notes to my AMP 'reference bible'...!

SL-M952 rear shift lever and the RD-M761 derailleur - reserved pending pics.

Re:

Hi, I could be up for the e13 pending pics.

I'm assuming you have adapters for the amp frame and fork to run discs? Limited to amp or rockshox otherwise.
