Peugeot Python Reynolds 531 Mountain Bike Frame Frameset.
This is a beautiful frameset in good condition with minor scuffs to paintwork. Uses internal brazing for very clean joints. Bosses for cantilever brakes, mudguards and rack. Even a chain holder to aid removing the back wheel.
BUT there is a seat post stuck in the seat tube.
I have been told this will need removing by cutting its length using a reciprocating saw or using an acid that will dissolve the aluminium. Or spend an hour or two with a hand held jab saw. There are companies in Lancashire and Leeds that have told me they can remove these but the frame isn’t quite my size and so I don’t want to plough more money into a frame I may not want to keep. The frame is too good to scrap so if you have the means or time it would make a good base for a project.
